While an idea is saved as a draft you can reopen and change it as often as you like. Once you submit it, it enters screening and is locked so reviewers all assess the same version. If something needs correcting after that, contact the office using the details in the sidebar and the team can update it for you.

Every submission moves through five stages: Screening, Expert Review, Public Voting, Final Review and Implementation. You can follow exactly which stage your idea has reached from your citizen dashboard at any time.

Yes. Your name stays attached to the idea throughout, and ideas that reach public voting or implementation are credited to you on the Hall of Fame and Success Stories pages.
